NEW ENGLAND QUILT MUSEUM

What: Textile Treasures Fundraiser

When: Saturday April 24th from 9 AM until Noon. Fill a bag with fabric for $35.00. Donations of good quilting fabrics will be accepted through April 16th.

What: Kinder Komfort - Amish Crib Quilts
When: March 4th - May 9th
At the same time, there will be an exhibit of miniature copies of Amish Quilts by Dorothy Bosselman and quilted by her and selected friends, most no larger than 6" square. The collection was recentl acquired by the museum and is being shown for the first time in 20 years.

 

What: Women's Writes: Signature Quilts and Their Stories
When: May 13 - July 11

 

What: The NHSQA Spring Meeting

When: Sunday, May 23rd, 2010.

Doors are open at noon, and the meeting starts at 1:00. Bring your lunch, and there will be refreshments.

 

The location will be at the Courtyard Marriott Grappone Conference Center, 70 Constitution Avenue, Concord, NH 03301.

 

There will be two presenters: Mary Derry, "We are not the quilt police", who will talk about quilt judging, as she is AQS certified.

 

The other presenter is Nancy Bell, who will do a trunk show on scrap quilting. Membership dues are $10 per year for 2 meetings.
